K1 Visa: For the US Citizen looking for a way to bring a fiance(e) from the Philippines to the USA, you have the option of going through the USCIS and filing the I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e).
K3 Visa: Another way to bring your Filipino loved one to the USA is if you married them in the Philippines? You can use the K3 Spouse visa by submitting the I-130 Relative Petition and then later filing the I-129F paper work.
This will most likely get your family member the CR-1 Conditional Resident visa and in some cases the IR-1 Immediate Relative visa.
K2 or K4 Visas: Any one of the above visas can include children under age 21 to also be granted a visa as a derivative to either the K1 Fiancee visa or the K3 Spousal visa.
Children are able to come to the USA as K2 children or K4 children if they meet the requirements. The Sponsor must also be able to provide evidence that they can meet the I-864 Poverty guidelines.
Other Visa types that many try to use but most fail:
Tourist or Visitor visas, which are both the same. You have a much better chance of bringing your loved one to the USA with the K1 or K3 visa than you do if you try to use a Tourist visa.
Tourist visas from the Philippines has less than a 5% success rate due to the difficult requirements that USCIS and the US Consulate imposes on the applicants. Often time applicants that meet most of the requirements still do not get approved and we have known some that where approved and made it all the way to the US port of entry and then where denied entry.
Requirements needed to get approved for a Tourist visa:
⇒ You should have traveled to other easier countries throughout Southeast Asia and returned back to your Country without any incident.
⇒ You should be a successful business owner and have proof of a substantial amount of saving for no less than six months.
⇒ You should own home and or real estate, automobile, proof that you can show to the interviewer that you have plenty to lose if you fail to return back to your Country at the appropriate time.
⇒ You must be able to file for the Tourist visa without the help of a US Sponsor, meaning that this is all up to the applicant whom also should be financially well off to afford round trip airline tickets.
⇒ One of the number one reason that many fail who come close to meeting all of the requirements, is when the interviewer asks them where in the USA are they going and who are they going to visit? For example, if your telling them that you want to go to Wabash Indiana to visit a friend and the friend is a man? then this is an automatic "RED FLAG"
⇒ Your chances are going to be much better if you actually have immediate family members such as mother father or a sibling living in Wabash Indiana? Most of the time the interviewers are wonder why would someone want to visit a place like Wabash Indiana? Better to say your visiting Los Angeles or New York City and a true family member but never a friend especially the opposite sex.
Now if you've been thinking about living in the Philippines, this could be an alternative for you no matter which Country your from?
13A Spouse visa
Other types of Visa that can be obtained if your desiring to live in the Philippines and come from another Country, would be the Resident visa for married couples known as a 13A Spouse visa.
Advantages with the 13A Visa:
A. Much easier to get loans and such. Even if in spouse’s name, your income can be shown. Easier to buy insurance.
B. No need for a ticket leaving the Philippines. You can come and go as you please.
C. After the one-year probationary period, the visa is permanent (Though you need to renew your ACR I-card every five years).
D. You are complying with the spirit of the law (This is a technicality, but if you come as a tourist, it is expected that you leave.)
E. No need for visa runs.
You may be SICK & TIRED by now of paying the Philippines government those ridiculous high visa extension fees every 59 days and standing in those lines and being charged for the EXPRESS lane even though there is nothing to the express lane nor you may have never even seen an express lane?
Are you tired of getting the run around with getting the facts about how to even become a Permanent Resident in the Philippines? I know I was and then when you ask someone who you think should have the answers they only give you a small piece of the picture and those who conduct the service for you want to charge you dearly as many in the past whom I have talked to had been charged P102,000.00 for a service that you now can have done for P38,000.00 in Cebu city.
