What is a Fiance(e) visa?
This is a visa that a US Citizen has to apply for to bring his or hers loved one to the United States to marry.
The K1 Fiance(e) Visa is offered by the USCIS United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Only a US Citizen may exercise the right to petition a boy friend or girlfriend to the USA from another Country.
If you are a Permanent Resident Green Card holder then you do not qualify and must wait until you are a U.S Citizen before you can apply.
Generally a K1 Fiance(e) Visa will take as long as 5 to 6 months to be processed and then the National Visa Center will forward all paper work to the US Embassy or consulate of your loved ones Country for further processing which will lead to an interview.
If you are someone who is venturing in the direction and love the idea of finding love outside of your Country as so many thousands of others have done then be sure to get off to a good start and make sure that this is something you will be able to complete before moving forward with it.
